Course Curriculum

Overview of Vedic Mathematics — its history, origin from the Vedas, and introduction to the 16 sutras. Understanding why Vedic Maths makes calculations faster and easier.
The Sutra of Proportionality — useful for multiplication and division. How to use proportional reasoning to simplify complex calculations.
"All from 9 and the last from 10" — a powerful technique for multiplication of numbers near a base (10, 100, 1000 etc.).
The general formula for multiplication applicable to all cases. Multiply any two multi-digit numbers using the vertical and crosswise method.
Useful in division, particularly when the divisor is slightly greater than a power of 10. Learn to transpose and apply for rapid division.
"When the sum is the same that sum is zero" — applied to solving certain types of equations quickly and elegantly.
"If one is in ratio the other is zero" — for solving simultaneous equations efficiently.
"By addition and by subtraction" — for solving equations using addition and subtraction rather than complex manipulation.
An overview and application of the remaining sutras: Puranapuranabhyam, Chalana-Kalanabhyam, Yavadunam, Vyashtisamanstih, Shesanyankena Charamena, Sopaantyadvayamantyam, Ekanyunena Purvena, Gunitasamuchyah, and Gunakasamuchyah.
Advanced speed multiplication techniques for 2-digit × 2-digit, 3-digit × 3-digit, squaring numbers, and multiplying near bases.
Rapid division techniques and squaring of numbers using Vedic sutras. Mental squaring of 2 and 3 digit numbers.
Applying Vedic Maths techniques to competitive exam problems. Time-saving shortcuts for SSC, IBPS, CAT, JEE and other competitive exams.
